Man Arrested in Breezy Hill Liquor Operation
An Aiken County man John Henry Broadwater 55 was arrested for possession and manufacturing liquor with intent to distribute. Investigators found 220 gallons buried in woods behind his home four 55 gallon barrels of sour mash liquor a gallon in his house and 1% gallons in his 1967 Ford. The still heated with wood and buried six to eight feet deep was described as old fashioned. Lead content tests will be conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division.
