Big Star to Close in North Augusta
Big Star Food Store on Georgia Avenue in North Augusta will close after the Jan 3 business day. The 10 employees will be relocated and eight rehired if possible. The new 28,000 square foot Big Star in Triangle Plaza made the old store obsolete due to higher labor costs.
