A Western Auto outlet in New Ellenton was broken into early today. Aiken County Sheriff's Department said the incident is under investigation and details are scarce as officials note the thieves twisted the front door lock to gain entry.
The Air Force grounded its 223 F111 swingwing jets after a Nevada crash near Nellis Air Force Base killed two pilots Lt. Col. Thomas J. Mack and Maj. James L. Anthony Mack.
