County commission backs tighter video poker rules
Aiken County planning commission voted 62 to approve delaying an ordinance to restrict video poker in urban development areas and require a 150 foot setback. The county council earlier consented to the setback and a 15 parking spaces per 1000 square feet rule to deter large casino style venues amid ongoing local zoning efforts following a state supreme court ruling.
