The Aiken County Sheriff's Office probes a suspicious vehicle fire on Main Street Graniteville. Reported just after 11 p.m. a car in a store parking lot burned fully, with the complainant noting unknown prefire issues and no visible suspects. Minor damage to the lot and store sign noted.
A 20 year old Aiken man Anthony Ramon Richardson Jr. was detained on marijuana and liquor charges after police chased a suspect from a Ford Expedition parked on Orangeburg Street. Officers found marijuana and a digital scale on Richardson and four bags of crack cocaine in an orange bottle elsewhere. A second suspect fled but was not caught. No arrests yet in the lockbox robbery at Huddle House. Blood was found on the lockbox door.
Aiken Public Safety reports a scam call purporting to Microsoft to a 79 year old man who still owns no computer. A Hartsville man faces larceny and prescription theft after stealing items from an employee and leaving them at a restaurant. Victims report over $2000 in stolen goods from a home. Drivers face DUIs on Whiskey Road York Street Silver Bluff Road and Richland Avenue with failed sobriety tests. Several shoplifting incidents occur on York Street Whiskey Road Richland Avenue and Sage Valley Drive. A woman reports credit card fraud and another unauthorized transactions. An iPhone case and backpack are stolen from vehicles and a bar tab remains unpaid. Gunshots reported on Hampton Avenue. investigation finds no evidence. Domestic violence and assault cases lead to warrants or charges for suspects in North Augusta and Aiken. Burglaries reported on Columbia Highway Sage Valley Drive East Pine Log Road and Deer paths. A golf cart was stolen on Gregory Road and deer stands on Springfield Church Road.

The list includes Gerald Folks Samuel Dunham Andre Malave Jim Gray Corey Washington Lawrence Newman Clarence Alston and many others charged with offenses such as fraud shoplifting driving under suspension DUI domestic violence and various warrants. Some may have posted bond and not served time.
