Kaplan Award Established at USC Aiken for Expository Writing
USC Aiken announces the Kaplan Award for Excellence in Expository Writing a $500 annual prize with a pin. Funded by Virginia Kaplan in memory of her husband Dr Raymond Kaplan the award honors students whose essays show clarity reason and strong English command submitted by April 1 each year judged anonymously by three English faculty members.
