Arrests at Aiken home after violent incident near Fairfield
Aaron Demetre Goodwin 22, Shanae Bush 18, and a juvenile were arrested after a disturbance near Fairfield and Abbeville streets. Goodwin faces disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. all suspects allegedly refused officer cooperation and were charged with failure to comply with a lawful order. Bond set in shooting case tied to home ransacking
Bond of 900000 was set Thursday for co defendant Mark King linked to the shooting of an Aiken man and burglary at his Old Pope Road home. King and murder suspect D Angelo Jackson allegedly kicked in the door, demanded money, and Battle was shot four times while the ransacking occurred. Jackson had bond set at 175000 in a related murder case involving Phillip Morris Jr. days earlier. A separate case notes a 14 year old pleaded guilty to assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature for sexually assaulting a 9 year old, with sentencing later after evaluation at Midlands.
