Scouts Earn Radio Merit Badge At Church Class
Nine scouts from the Georgia Carolina Council Yamasee District and four adult leaders from sixth to tenth grade earned the Radio Merit Badge in a class held at St. John’s United Methodist Church. The program covered disaster aid, satellites, high tech electronics, and wireless communications with hands on radio work. The North Augusta Belvedere Radio Club sponsored the free course and offered study information for the 35 question technician license exam.
