Coroner rules death in single vehicle crash natural
Barnwell County Coroner Lloyd Ward released that John W. Deer 62 of Dana Avenue Clar passed Saturday after a highway 64 crash. Autopsy found death from natural causes not injuries from the collision. Deer wore a seat belt as authorities investigated with help from the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Wreaths Across America Ceremony Honors Veterans in Aiken County
Wreaths Across America will honor veterans this Saturday with wreath-laying ceremonies at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville and Pineview Memorial Gardens in North Augusta. Local organizer Tony Venetz, a veteran, says about 1,200 to 1,300 wreaths will be placed across Aiken County with participation from American Legion Post 71 and community groups. The national event unites cemeteries across all states and foreign lands to honor service members.
