Dolls and Dollars Bring Christmas Cheer to Needy Families
On Thursday 70 dolls dressed by Town and Country and 12 by the Lila Williams Mission group were delivered to Salvation Army captain John White. The dolls are displayed at Fabric Mill Store on Laurens Street and will be given to children in need. The Salvation Army Christmas Cheer Fund has totaled 5496 dollars and 89 cents with donations from Doenor Amevat Mrs L O Segrestis M and Mrs Paul J Cotter and others.
