Carter Cabinet Aides Take Taxpayer Trips to Europe Asia
Several members of President Carter's lame duck Cabinet and aides are on taxpayer funded trips abroad. Destinations include London Paris Hawaii and Peking with official business cited. Some officials canceled tours but sent assistants instead as three delegations headed to China and others to Europe and the Orient. Ray Marshall travels to Paris then to China for five days while Charles Duncan Jr returns from Paris after a ministers meeting.
