Salley and North Augusta thefts reported on property and pets
Salley residents reported thefts including batteries a radiator and copper wiring from Wagoner Road between December 6 and 8. In North Augusta a pit bull and dog cage were taken from a Taylors Road home on Wednesday. An Aiken man faced charges for simple possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after a Whiskey Road traffic stop for an expired license plate decal. A New Ellenton man arrested for allegedly stealing a prescription from Aiken Regional Medical Centers was found with additional prescription drugs during booking at the Aiken County detention center with no valid prescriptions.
