Christmas At The Lake Returns To Aiken For 7th Year
Aiken Regional Medical Centers hosts the 7th annual Christmas At The Lake on Thursday at 3 pm near the lake in front of the hospital. Performances by local school and church choirs start the event, which includes a Salvation Army toy drive, a drawing for an 8 foot stocking, 1999 ornaments for the first 500 families, hot drinks and cookies, and no admission fee.

Parks and Recreation offers kids crafts at Rye Patch Center
The Department of Parks and Recreation hosts a crafts session for children of all ages at the Rye Patch Reception Center. Participants will learn to make items such as reindeer pins and magnets. The event runs Saturday December 11 and Sunday December 12 with additional details forthcoming.
