Missing 18 year old Tiffaney Wilson prompts cross state search

Investigators pursue active leads as North Augusta Public Safety, Aiken County deputies, SLED and FBI joined a search for 18 year old Tiffaney Wilson missing since Saturday after her two month old daughter Kaitlyn was found abandoned at an Interstate 20 Welcome Center. The infant was located by a visitor on the Georgia side of the Savannah River and the mother's car was later found at a SC 25 supermarket lot. Local authorities have scoured wooded areas in Aiken and Edgefield counties with no clues to date. The family has heard nothing from the missing teen.

Clemson's Barker Begins Presidency Tour At Aiken Stop

New Clemson president James F Barker, 14th and fifth in 15 years, visited Aiken County on a face to face tour. He met with university representatives Regions Bank and the Chamber of Commerce at the Willcox Inn, spoke of making Clemson a premier land grant university and top 20 nationally, prioritizing teaching and service, and aiming for $100 million in funded research.
