South Carolina attorney seeks delay in Kneece extradition hearing
Aiken attorney John Harte says it will take a month to hold a hearing on his motion to block extradition of Etheridge Kneece, 60, to Arkansas for murder charges. Kneece is jailed in Edgefield County on charges tied to the Pea Ridge killings of his estranged wife and her first husband. Harte argues Arkansas lacks jurisdiction if the contract for the murder occurred in South Carolina. He did not expect the hearing before January.
