Fund-raisers for Columbine memorial library and tribute
Healing Of People Everywhere plans a near four million dollar fundraiser by May to replace Columbine High School library where Harris and Klebold killed ten students and others perished outside. A second group seeks five hundred thousand to one million for a memorial next spring. The board expects approval, with eight point one million for a new library and eight hundred seventy five thousand to gut and replace the upper floor with a glass atrium. The library remains closed since the shooting.
