Pierce found guilty in nurse murder case at Charleston
A Charleston County jury found Marcellus Pierce guilty of murder rape and kidnapping in the 1984 death of Barbara Lynn Rossi a University of South Carolina nursing student. Prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty in the sentencing phase beginning Sunday.
