Aiken Hopes for Growth With Hotel Aiken Redevelopment
City leaders back the Hotel Aiken and Courtyard by Marriott project unveiled at a Chamber breakfast. A three floor addition with 30 plus rooms dining and conference space is planned to begin January 2018 with an investment above 11 million dollars. Neel Shah predicts a 1.6 multiplier in jobs and increased economic development for downtown.
