Woman dies in freak Owens Coming fiberglass accident
A Warrenville woman Ashley Strianese 21 died after her hair became entangled in a spinning fiberglass roller at Owens Coming while she cleaned a machine around 11 44 a m. She was taken to Aiken Regional Medical Centers and pronounced dead at 12 34 p m. The death is under investigation with internal company review and OSHA involved.

Newlyweds killed in crash on Chime Bell Church Road

Argument over a woman ends in murder in Aiken
Mario T. Reddish, 22, of Dickens Avenue in Aiken, was shot to death in the early hours outside the Elks Lodge on Reynolds Pond Road after an argument over a woman. Joshua L. Forest, 25, of Greenville Street, was arrested later Sunday afternoon at a Sleep Inn in North Augusta and charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
