A South Carolina man visiting his fiancée for Thanksgiving was killed when a 72 year old boarder shot him twice in the chest before killing himself. The incident occurred at the fiancée’s home in Pennsbury Township. The shooter was a retired Presbyterian minister. The couple’s visitor was Merton Radloff, 54, from Rock Hill.

24 year sentence for killing man's son

Deputy Public Defender Kent Landry argued his client was mentally ruined by alcohol and psychological distress after the crime. Joseph Lundy, 49, pleaded guilty but mentally ill to the May shooting of his son Anthony and received 24 years with at least 20 to serve under new penalties. Secret Santa brings Christmas toys to Aiken County children

For a decade Secret Santa of Aiken County, run by volunteers from South Aiken Presbyterian Church, matches sponsors with underprivileged children. Toys under 25 dollars are purchased, wrapped, and given to 1,200 to 1,300 area kids this year, with donations tax deductible and proceeds funding toy purchases.
