Two people were injured when a Honda Civic with four passengers left Edgefield Road in North Augusta, struck a utility pole, then were struck by a Chevrolet pickup after exiting. The Honda driver suffered serious but non life threatening injuries. another passenger had minor injuries. No charges filed as investigators treat two separate collisions.
The Jacket Regiment from North Augusta performed in the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade on November 22 in Chicago. Chuck Deen notes open invites from Under the Sun Productions and a desire to return, citing the festive look and crowd-friendly performances. Students, including Jillian Newman and Alexandra Dickenson, enjoyed experiences like Shedd Aquarium and Willis Tower while sharing pride in the trip.
Jeri Barrett of Herbal Solutions launches Hang One for FOTAS to aid Aiken County Animal Shelter. Through Dec 31, customers may donate 1 per pet in honor or memory, with donations from multiple local businesses funding the effort to reach a $10,000 goal. Paper cutouts of dogs cats and horses will hang in shops to show support.
