Pigs on Northwest Flights Headed to China
In Franklin Kentucky the Pig Improvement Co and Guang Sand Puo Co ship 1900 porkers to China aboard two Northwest Orient Boeing 747s. The herd, destined for Guangdong province testing facilities, will be loaded in 11 trucks to O Hare where three crate layers per plane hold the animals.
