Aiken County crime blotter reports multiple disturbances
A 33 year old Williston man faced charges of simple possession after a domestic dispute on Charleston Highway in Aiken. A Beech Island man reported two pressure washers stolen on Jefferson Davis Highway. An Aiken man said counterfeit money was used to buy a diet bike on South Main Street. A Gaffney woman reported a break in on Plan tation Road. A North Augusta man was charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance outside a gas station on Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater. A woman said someone broke into her vehicle on Dobbs Way and stole a tablet. A construction company owner reported theft of appliances from Sierra Drive. A 30 year old Aiken man said his car was broken into on Morgan Street. A 35 year old man reported a tool valued at 400 stolen on Beaufort Street. A 20 year old Aiken man said someone broke into his vehicle on Silver Bluff Road.

Memorial Golf Tournament Hosted by American Legion Post 71
American Legion Post 71 in North Augusta hosts its 10th annual Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday October 1 at Mount Vintage Golf Club. Registration starts at 10 am with a noon shotgun start.
