A 63 year old woman reported her purse was taken from under a pew at St. Mary Help of Christians during Mass. A witness saw a white male in his 30s at the back of the church and described him as about 6 feet tall with dark hair.
An unknown woman fled a Richland Avenue store with unpaid items including pajamas and a bed comforter after dropping them. Break ins were reported on Aiken Mall Drive and Greengate Circle with a stolen purse and three swords. Copper wire was stolen from a cellphone tower on Old Graniteville Highway. A Beech Island woman entered a classroom and stole money from her daughter's wallet. A 29 year old Beech Island man was arrested for DUI after officers found him intoxicated at a gas station. A catalytic converter was cut from a Langley church van. Burglary reported at the Welcome Center on Interstate 20 with a cash lock box missing. Burglary also on Finklin Road Beech Island. A vehicle stolen from Columbia Highway.
