Morning rockers spread cheer on Today show roster
Jon Bon Jovi performed for commuters in Manhattan on a Friday morning as NBC News features morning concerts on Today. Elton John’s Sept appearance tops a growing fringe series while Good Morning America invited James Brown Billy Ray Cyrus and Gloria Gaynor to its Central Park sessions. The View lags in ratings though and Daryl & Marilyn also drew fewer viewers in its first week.
