Tuskegee Airman Lt Col Howard Baugh Dies at 93
Lt Col Howard Lee Baugh one of the original Tuskegee Airmen died after a brief illness in a Richmond area hospital. He enlisted in 1942 and flew 135 combat missions with the 332nd Fighter Group's 99th Fighter Squadron in Sicily Italy. He earned the Distinguished Flying Cross and multiple Air Medals including three Oak Leaf Clusters and later the French Legion of Honor in 2004.
