Horseman Cassatt Dies at 67 Owner of Gum Branch Farm
Alexander J. Cassatt Jr. known as Sandy Cassatt, 67, former master of the Aiken Hounds and owner of Gum Branch Farm in Aiken, died August 26 2000 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A Maryland native and Mary Cassatt relative, he sold a painting in 1986 for 600000 and used the proceeds to buy the Gum Branch property. The painting now resides in Detroit.
