New I Believe license plates deemed legal by AG
South Carolina AG Henry McMaster says a nonprofit designed I Believe license plate with three crosses is legal under private group specialty plate rules. The DMV is reviewing the opinion after a federal judge previously ruled similar plates unconstitutional.
