West plans to save six and a half million for SC
Gov. John C. West announced that South Carolina will cut state government expenses by at least 6.5 million in the first year after the Management Review Commission's cost-cutting plan. The semiannual report projects 1.6 million in annual savings, 2.5 million in one-time savings, and 2.1 million in annual income, plus an extra 0.25 million from improved management practices.
