Two Die In Head-on Collision On Old Barnwell Road
A fiery head on crash on Old Barnwell Road in Montmorenci Friday afternoon killed both drivers. One victim died at the scene and the other, from a Mitsubishi, died at the Medical College of Georgia after being airlifted. The South Carolina Highway Patrol investigates possible center line crossing and urgent road closure disrupted traffic for hours.

A government panel appointed by Gov. Mark Sanford plans a major restructuring of the Department of Social Services to curb waste.
