Makeover of First Presbyterian Church preschool in final stage
Susan Lawson watches four year olds explore a play area as renovations near completion at First Presbyterian Church preschool. Director Mary Maddrey cites church support and a summer makeover to finish before classes begin. The program serves 115 children from infants to SK with many families new to the church. Lawson notes early literacy gains and a lifelong learning mindset.
