Arrests in Video Poker Crackdown in York and Lancaster Counties
Police report arrests in a crackdown on illegal video poker machines banned by voters in York and Lancaster counties. At Foot's Place in Lesslie four machines were hidden behind a door with a peephole and a power switch. Store manager Robert Gambrell owner Jimmy Archie and patron Ray Pendergrass were charged with four counts of possession and operation of Class 3 poker machines. A Lancaster man Britton Parker turned himself in at Tripp's Convenience Store.
