Dreams and Shepherds Guide Us Home This Christmas
A 1957 Frederick Forsyth short story sets a RAF pilot’s lonely Christmas Eve flight from Germany to England. An electrical failure leaves him navigating by instinct until a mysterious shepherd plane leads him to a safe landing. The meditation then links the shepherd metaphor to God guiding dreams and people shaping our paths. Dr. Fred Andrea of Aiken First Baptist closes with a prayer for divine leading.
