Schools Starting Locally August 26
Consolidated School District of Aiken County students will report to school on Aug. 26. Parents unsure of their child’s attendance area should call the area office. Aug. 26 will be a full school day with normal bus routes. Labor Day on Sept. 2 means no school. The year ends May 30.
Hollings Delays Vacation Citing Budget Explaination

Downtown Parking Plan Approved by Aiken Council
The Aiken City Council unanimously approved a six month downtown parking trial from Sept 30 to March 3 to move employees to off street lots including a Park Avenue space owned by C S Bank.
