A memorial service for George Duncan Barnes Jr. will be held at 2 00 pm on Tuesday December 22 2015 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wesley Greene officiating. Interment follows at Southlawn Cemetery. Barnes entered rest December 17 2015 after living in Aiken County 39 years. He was husband of Taressa Fowler Barnes and father of Justin and Michael Barnes. He was born in Wilmington NC and graduated from Aiken High School 1976 United Truck Masters 1986 CDL certified Aiken Technical College 2012 forklift operator. He loved UNC Tarheels drag racing gardening and cars. Surviving are two sons two brothers two sisters and wife. Memorials to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association are suggested. Pallbearers named Justin Barnes Michael Barnes Tony Rollins Anthony Rollins. Visitation 6 8 pm Monday December 21 2015 at Cole Funeral Home.
