Camera finds survivable space in mine where six miners missing
A camera lowered into a mine where six workers have been missing for more than five days found a survivable space beneath rubble and water but no miners. Officials described a 5 1/2 foot void and continued efforts with a smaller hole supplying oxygen as rescuers warned airflow remained insufficient for life. Relatives voiced dwindling hope as drills proceed and the exact location 1,868 feet below the surface remains in reach of rescue teams.
