North Augusta Planning Commission Q&A on Hwy 25 growth
The commission heard public comments urging careful consideration of Highway 25 growth as B and H Land Company seeks to rezone 16.246 acres to Planned Development near Sweetwater Junction. Residents raised concerns about drainage and environmental impact, while officials explained PD flexibility and city input. The panel approved rezoning and postponed broader development talk, with Arbor Place preliminary plat approved for 169 lots and Smart Growth concepts promoted for future planning.
