Timothy Wigfall, 21, of 127 Horry Street, was stabbed in the chest during a fight over a watch. Officers found him injured at 127 Horry Street and he was taken to Aiken Community Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. No charges filed.

The measure aims to raise about $99 billion in taxes and trim Medicare and Medicaid spending by roughly $17 billion over three years. President Reagan pressed Republicans to back the tax bill amid opposition while aides report progress in securing pledges of support. The panel approved most provisions to boost taxpayer compliance.
Condemned murderer Frank J Coppola told Judge Warriner he wants the electric chair carried out tonight or tomorrow noting he must be true to himself and wishing to leave that impression for his children. Warriner refused to delay the execution and Coppola pressed for Tuesday night.
