TV Viewers Shift Threatens Film Studio Wealth
Hollywood reports that changing TV viewing habits endanger the revenue stream from theatrical features sold to networks. Networks now favor high rating, TV produced features, lowering average feature prices from about 800000 to 700000, with some as low as 650000, while selective buying reduces new theatrical releases.
