Barton wins runoff for District 6 seat
Charles Barton defeated eight year incumbent Joel Randall 536 to 393 in the Aiken County Council District 6 Republican runoff. 932 ballots, 11.47 percent of 8126 registered voters, cast the vote as the county will bill the state 4100 for the election, about 4.50 per ballot. Barton now faces Democrat Danny Porter in November.
