Mattel to pay MGA $309 million in Bratz ruling
A federal judge ordered Mattel to pay MGA Entertainment more than $309 million in a long running dispute over Bratz ownership. The decision includes $85 million in punitive damages, $137 million in legal fees, and over $2 million in trade secrets costs. Mattel can appeal and will review next steps.
