Maj. Gen. Kevin J. Sullivan became commander of the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base Utah during a June 10 change of command ceremony. He leads a 15000 member workforce. Joshua E Sizemore of North Augusta was named a United States national award winner by the United States Achievement Academy. Sizemore attends Augusta Christian School and was nominated by Jamie Baxley. He is the son of William and Elaine Sizemore and grandson of Freddie and Joy Fulcher and the late William and Mary Sizemore.

Hopelands concert cancelled. Broadway show to proceed Tuesday
The Hopelands Summer Concert Series cancels Monday's Crossroads Band performance. Tuesday's program The Best of Broadway with Catherine Stapleton and friends will proceed at 7 p.m. at the Roland H. Windham Performing Arts Stage, with a lineup of vocalists and musicians and songs from Kiss Me Kate to Broadway Ladies. Admission is free. If rain interrupts, the event will move to the Odell Weeks Center.
