Third wave of arrests in Aiken check fraud case
Three more suspects in the Aiken counterfeit payroll check ring were arrested by the Public Safety Department on Saturday. Six of eight suspects have been captured, with two still at large. two men, Fredrick Green and DeMont Williams, remain sought for manufacturing counterfeit payroll checks tied to SKF USA Inc. in Granville. The Wagener Police Department also made arrests as the probe continues with further warrants anticipated.
