Alf Saliba a 49 year old stuntman known as The Incredible Alf says he plans to shoot 50 darts into his chest to enter the Guinness Book of World Records. The Georgia Legislature asked its Department of Transportation to study a Savannah River bridge at Jackson after Aiken County and Augusta regional officials discussed the project. Addy said Georgia will provide SC DOT with needed information as SC studies date back a decade. Estimated road work on the SC side runs about 10 million dollars, not counting bridge costs. Locating the New Production Reactor at the Savannah River Plant could boost the plan, and Jackson officials have lobbied for years.

Silver Bluff Pine Log Road Work To Begin
The project to widen Pine Log and Silver Bluff roads from Whiskey Road to the Aiken city limits will start soon after delays due to right of way. Eagle Construction Co. of Newberry is the contractor for the 90 mile stretch with an $800000 cost, including the Silver Bluff Road Hitchcock Parkway realignment.
