Justice Department declines to prosecute Comey over memos
The Justice Department will not prosecute former FBI Director James Comey over memos detailing personal interactions with President Donald Trump. The memos, some flagged as containing classified material, were written before Comey’s firing in May 2017 and later circulated by a friend. The decision reveals the high level of caution around disclosures tied to the Russia investigation and Trump administration.
