DOT: Silver Bluff work could be done by September
An SCDOT official told the Aiken Standard the Silver Bluff Road Corridor Improvement Project should finish earlier than planned. The last phase is targeted for early September, about a month before the renegotiated Oct 7 deadline. Delays arose from interconnecting signals at three locations due to missing fiber optics and cable materials.
