Judge upholds 21.6 million MOX clawback ruling
Judge Thomas C. Wheeler reaffirmed that Areva MOR Services must repay 21.6 million in construction and performance incentives clawed back by the NNSA for the Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility at Savannah River Site. DOE challenged jurisdiction, but Wheeler rejected that. The ruling covers incentives paid between 2008 and 2019, with MOX Services seeking about 53 million in unpaid fees.

Graniteville man charged in child sex case
A Graniteville man Maurice Wells, 21, faces second degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Deputies investigated a missing juvenile after a May 11 report and located her at a Red Rock Way residence. Wells was arrested Tuesday and held on a 23000 bond. another male suspect remains unnamed.
