Anderson Cleared of Tax Fraud in Spartanburg Case
A six juror panel acquitted House Speaker Pro Tempore Ster ling Anderson of 53 misdemeanor tax underreporting counts and 47 conspiracy counts after 11 hours of deliberation. His sales manager Brenda Ann Parham was found guilty on 46 counts for failing to provide complete sales tax information. Sentencing for Parham is set for today.
