Aiken County Deputy Probate Judge Nominated to Fill Vacancy
Aiken County deputy probate judge Mildred Boswell has been nominated to fill the remainder of the term after Probate Judge Carl Hair’s death. She will run the office until January when the election winner takes over. Clerk of Court has managed the office in the interim. Boswell’s nomination was sent to Gov. Riley for approval after Merle Miller withdrew in mid April.
