Beech Island meth lab busted after four week probe
A four week investigation ended Thursday when state and local officers raided a Beech Island home arresting three people and seizing methamphetamine from a working lab. Arrested were Brian S. Raines 50 of Augusta, Lewis O. Johnson 48 and Tammy R. Rinker 34 all of Beech Island charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute. The search at 10 Beard Road yielded a functioning lab in a bathroom and was announced by Lt. Michael Frank of the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

James A. Duncan Jr., 21, of New Ellenton, already jailed, faces two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor second degree, two counts of lewd act on a minor, and criminal solicitation of a minor.
